Detention of Roman Dudyn
The State Bureau of Investigations detained Roman Dudyn, the former head of the Security Service of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region, on suspicion of treason and organizing the illegal seizure of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration building on February 24, 2022. According to the State Bureau of Investigations, it has been established that the former head of the SBU in the Kharkiv region, possessing information about the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation conducting offensive operations on the territory of Ukraine on February 24, 2022, attempted to seize power in the region. Oleg Synegubov confirmed that Dudyn sought to implement his plans on the first day of the war.
