Appointment of Preventive Measure for Former Deputy

The former deputy of the Volyn Regional Council has been assigned a preventive measure in the form of bail amounting to 66 thousand hryvnias. This decision was made by the investigating judge of the High Anti-Corruption Court (HACC) in connection with the suspicion of providing illegal benefits in the amount of 30 thousand US dollars. According to information, this money was offered for making decisions that would allow the construction of an apartment building in the city of Lutsk.

It should be noted that part of the received funds amounted to 15 thousand US dollars. The investigation continues to probe into this case, including examining the former deputy's role in the decision-making processes that could have influenced construction in the region.
