The National Bank of Ukraine published fresh exchange rates at the beginning of this working week. The official exchange rate of the hryvnia to the US dollar is 41.73 UAH, and to the euro - 49.12 UAH.
Compared to the previous day, there were some changes in the currency market. The dollar rose by one kopeck, reaching a level of 41.73 UAH, while the euro lost 6 kopecks, dropping to 49.12 UAH.
Experts predict that the fluctuation of the euro may continue into next week. Current rates in banks do not indicate any further growth of the European currency compared to the hryvnia.
Representatives of the NBU explained that the main factor influencing currency fluctuations in the Ukrainian market is the weakening of the US dollar against other currencies, provoked by internal and external US politics.
They also mentioned the transition to the euro and indicated the deadlines, as well as the IMF's conditions for this process.
