Russia launched a massive strike on Ukraine: what Zelensky reported

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, commented on the large-scale Russian attack that took place on the night of the published date. The Russian aggressor struck with more than 50 missiles and nearly 500 strike drones, launching cruise missiles 'Shaheds' and 'Kinzhalis'. This attack affected the Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Zaporizhzhia, Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Kherson, Odesa, and Kirovohrad regions.



'As of now, it is known that about 10 people were injured due to the attack. Unfortunately, five have died. Sincere condolences to all who lost loved ones due to this terror,' Zelensky said.


The President emphasized that the Russians tried to damage infrastructure that is important for the normal lives of people.



Rescue and restoration work is already underway in the affected areas. Zelensky will report on the process and expects prompt government intervention and an improvement in the situation. The president also called on international partners to strengthen air defense to prevent similar attacks in the future.
