Curfew Restrictions Relaxed
In areas under an energy emergency, curfew rules have been eased. Residents can now travel on foot or by vehicle to Resilience Points and heating centers without requiring special permits. However, all individuals must carry personal identification documents. This change is intended to help people reach vital support services during a period of severe strain on the power grid.
For those eligible for military service, there is an additional requirement to carry their military registration documents. This new policy was made possible by decisions approved by the Defense Council in consultation with security forces and military command. The simplified rules aim to facilitate easier access to locations providing aid and warmth during these challenging conditions.
Significance of the Change
The curfew relaxation during the energy crisis highlights the priority of ensuring access to essential social services and supporting the population. It also demonstrates how state authorities are adapting to new challenges posed by the energy situation and their commitment to easing the burdens on citizens living under emergency conditions.
