The National Agency for the Detection and Management of Assets has taken control of the ship for further implementation.
According to ARMA, the ship 'ANKA' violated the state border and entered the port of temporarily occupied Crimea — violating Ukrainian legislation and the internationally recognized status of the peninsula.
The transfer of the asset to ARMA's control occurred based on a ruling by an investigative judge issued at the request of the Main Directorate of the Security Service of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea as part of a criminal proceeding initiated over the violation of entry and exit procedures on the temporarily occupied territory.
It was noted that specialists from the Southern MTU of ARMA have already conducted a technical inspection of the vessel, which confirmed that the asset is in good technical condition and ready for further use.
'This allows for its sale with maximum benefit to the state. Currently, the interregional management is collecting all necessary information about the asset to prepare a quality competitive proposal,' the agency reported.
