Donation of King Charles III

King Charles III made a donation to the Jewish charity World Jewish Relief, which provides assistance to Ukrainians affected by Russian aggression. Since the full-scale invasion of Russia into Ukraine in February 2022, this organization has helped over 375,000 people in almost 400 cities in Ukraine. The king's donation is part of efforts to support those suffering as a result of the conflict.

Support for the Jewish community

King Charles III has been the patron of World Jewish Relief since 2015. His first connection with the organization's activities came after a visit to the Jewish community in Krakow in 2002. In 2008, he opened the Jewish Community Center in Krakow, highlighting his longstanding support for the Jewish community and charitable initiatives.

Moreover, World Jewish Relief has helped 14,000 Ukrainian refugees in the United Kingdom. Paul Anticoni, a representative of the organization, expressed gratitude for the king's generous contribution:

“We are deeply grateful to His Majesty and the King Charles III Charity for this generous contribution” - Paul Anticoni.

It is also worth noting that King Charles III played a key role in changing the attitude of U.S. President Donald Trump towards support for Ukraine, indicating his active position in international affairs.

The donation of King Charles III highlights the importance of international support for Ukraine in the ongoing conflict. The work of World Jewish Relief demonstrates how charitable organizations can play a significant role in providing assistance to those affected by war, as well as in facilitating the integration of Ukrainian refugees into new communities. This initiative may inspire other world leaders to take proactive measures in support of Ukraine and its citizens.
