Marta Kostyuk on scholarships for young tennis players: a mandatory condition of the fund

Ukrainian tennis player Marta Kostyuk participated in the presentation of a comprehensive study on the development of tennis, conducted by her foundation. During the event, she answered questions from the publication 'Hlavkom' about the organization's work with young tennis players.


Speaking about scholarship programs for young Ukrainian tennis players, Kostyuk noted that there is a problem of interaction with Russians and Belarusians in modern Ukrainian tennis. Young Ukrainian tennis players often communicate with representatives of other countries, which can affect their career. Marta Kostyuk emphasized the importance of researching the behavior and profiles of players receiving support to avoid scandalous situations in the future.



  • Kostyuk collaborates with the Ukraine Global Scholars foundation, which helps children obtain scholarships at universities around the world.

  • Participants of the program are required to return to Ukraine after their studies and not change their citizenship.



Victory of the Ukrainian tennis player in Metz


Vitaliy Sachko impressed everyone by defeating the 13th-ranked player in the world, Oleksandr Bublik, at the ATP 250 tournament in Metz.



The message also mentions that Elina Svitolina has decided to stop playing tennis until the end of 2025 due to psychological exhaustion from intense competitions. The athlete noted that she needs time to recover and plans to return to the court in the future.



During the presentation of the research on the development of tennis, Marta Kostyuk emphasized the importance of understanding the impact of external factors on the careers of young athletes. She also supports students who intend to return to Ukraine after studying abroad and remain citizens of the country.
