The state program 'Credit for Youth' continues to operate in Ukraine and serves as a key mechanism for supporting citizens who want to purchase their own housing. The main goal of the program is to provide affordable financing for Ukrainians up to 36 years old.

Participation Conditions in the Program

The program can be used by couples where neither of them is older than 35 years, single young people, or single-parent families with children. A special provision exists for PhD holders: they can obtain a loan up to 40 years old, provided that the other spouse has not yet turned 36. An essential condition is the absence of personal housing or the non-compliance of existing property with minimum social standards.

Loan Conditions

The interest rate remains at 7% per annum, the down payment starts from 6%, and the maximum repayment term is 20 years. Women must fully repay the loan by age 55, while men must do so by age 60.

The loan amount depends on the family composition and the price of housing. For example, a loan of up to 2.7 million hryvnias may be issued for two people in Kyiv.

Housing Purchase Opportunities

The program is applicable for apartments up to 50 years old, private houses up to 20 years old, and renovated properties. Specifically, one can purchase both new construction and secondary housing.

Local Support Mechanisms

Some regions have their own support programs with different conditions. Thanks to the combination of state and regional assistance, hundreds of young Ukrainians each year gain the opportunity to acquire their own housing.

Don't forget about the state compensation under the program 'eOselya'.
