The occupying authorities plan to accept residents from Donbas, Zaporizhia, and Kherson regions, but in fact, they will settle "loyal" citizens of the Russian Federation from other regions of the country on these territories
Moreover, the Kremlin plans to actively Russify the youth in the occupied lands, suppressing Ukrainian identity and promoting the Russian language. In particular, in Luhansk region, the idea of creating a youth Stakhanovite movement is being considered, which will include compulsory internships for students in production and competitions among groups.
These actions by Russia provoke serious outrage and stir up conflict in eastern Ukraine, exacerbating an already difficult political and socio-cultural situation in the region.
