This forum underscores the critical role of international cooperation in addressing security and human rights issues, as well as efforts to restore Ukrainian control over Crimea. By bringing together diverse voices—from policymakers to civil society—the event aims to craft effective responses to ongoing challenges. It also reflects the global community’s growing focus on the situation in Crimea and the urgent need to ensure accountability for crimes committed there.

In light of the upcoming forum, it's essential to consider the broader context of the ongoing situation in Crimea. Recently, the President made a appeal to the residents of Crimea, highlighting the urgent need for unity and resilience among the community. This call aligns with the forum's objectives, emphasizing the importance of collective efforts in addressing the challenges faced by the region.
