Кривий Ріг після потужного удару: 23 постраждалих, зруйновані будівлі та тисячі людей без світла.

Attack on Kryvyi Rih

Kryvyi Rih became a victim of a combined attack with missiles and drones, resulting in numerous injuries and significant destruction. According to the head of the city's defense council, Oleksandr Vilkul, as of 23:00, there are 23 registered injuries due to the attack of two Iskander-M missiles on the residential sector, among which are 6 children and 8 women. Currently, 15 injured individuals are in hospitals, one of whom is in extremely serious condition, and another is in serious condition.

Unfortunately, a 77-year-old woman lost her life as a result of the attack. Significant destruction affected 29 multi-storey buildings, one of which was practically destroyed, while about ten suffered serious damage. An administrative building and 10 business facilities were also affected, and over 20 vehicles were damaged. In addition, the attack struck a critical infrastructure facility.

Energy situation in the city

The energy situation in the city is also complicated: over 83 thousand subscribers have already received electricity supply, however, more than 77 thousand remain without power. In terms of water supply, half of the city has been switched to generators, leading to reduced pressure in the system. Four large boiler houses supplying about 1400 houses have also lost voltage. According to reports, a round-the-clock assistance headquarters has been deployed in the city to provide support to the affected.

This attack underscores the seriousness of the situation in Ukraine, where civilian areas often become targets. The importance of timely assistance and infrastructure restoration in such conditions is critically important for sustaining life in the city.

The affected individuals require urgent medical assistance, and local authorities are working to restore energy and water supply systems to meet the basic needs of the population.
