Over the last two months, significant changes have occurred in the Ukrainian currency market. The exchange rate of the US dollar has risen to 41.7 UAH, while the euro has dropped to 48.3 UAH. Global markets also note the strengthening of the dollar and the weakening of the euro. The National Bank of Ukraine closely monitors the situation and may intervene in market processes.
Experts' forecasts
Financial analysts predict further weakening of the hryvnia. The current dollar rate may increase to 42 UAH, but accurate forecasting is difficult due to high state budget expenditures. The National Bank has gained more opportunities to regulate the exchange rate due to slowing inflation. Forecasts for the end of the year vary from 42 to 44 UAH per dollar.
The euro is also experiencing uncertainty; however, under the influence of the euro-integration processes, it is becoming increasingly important to the Ukrainian market. It is expected that the euro exchange rate may fluctuate from 47 to 50 UAH by the end of the year.
In recent months, the exchange rates of the dollar and euro in Ukraine have changed due to macroeconomic processes both in our country and globally. Experts predict further weakening of the hryvnia and regulation of exchange rates by the National Bank.
