European low-cost airline Wizz Air has announced a large sale of airline tickets to celebrate its 22nd anniversary. The airline has put one million tickets on sale for up to 22 euros for flights during the summer and autumn seasons of 2026. This is reported by Visit Ukraine.
Wizz Air sells cheap tickets until the end of May 18
The promotional offer is valid for a limited time—tickets with a discount can be purchased until the end of May 18.
Discounts apply to flights scheduled from May 19 to October 31, 2026. Thus, the campaign covers the entire summer vacation season and the beginning of autumn.
Wizz Air emphasizes that the number of tickets at promotional prices is limited, so popular destinations may run out quickly.
Cheap Wizz Air flights available from Poland and Romania
For Ukrainians, the most convenient departures remain from neighboring countries—Poland, Romania, Moldova, Slovakia, and Hungary.
Among the cheapest destinations:
- Suceava—Bologna from 13 euros;
- Bratislava—Alicante from 15 euros;
- Warsaw or Chisinau—Milan from 16 euros;
- Warsaw—Bergen from 21 euros;
- Krakow—Tirana from 21 euros;
- Budapest—Athens from 22 euros.
The cost depends on the date of travel, flight occupancy, and type of fare.
Wizz Air remains one of the most popular low-cost carriers among Ukrainians, especially after the reduction of direct flights from Ukraine due to the war.
For Ukrainian travelers, this means the possibility of planning cheaper summer and autumn trips to Europe through airports in neighboring countries.
It should be noted that the airline Wizz Air launched an advertising campaign with the slogan 'Ukraine, we are coming home,' which caused confusion among passengers regarding the resumption of flights. The company acknowledged a communication error and apologized, stating that the advertisement materials had been removed from social media.
