Legendary Train Unveils New Route for 2026
In October 2026, the iconic Orient Express will debut a fresh itinerary linking Rome and Istanbul. The inaugural trip is set for October 22 and will span five days and four nights. Tickets for this exclusive experience start at €20,000 per person.

Dubbed La Dolce Vita Orient Express, the train will depart from Roma Ostiense station. Stops along the way include:

The Orient Express Lounge was designed by architect Ugo Toro, while the sleeping compartments and suites were crafted by Milan-based studio Dimorestudio. Each compartment spans approximately 7 square meters, and each suite measures nearly 11 square meters.
Culinary direction is in the hands of three-Michelin-star chef Heinz Beck. The dining car will serve refined dishes that enhance the travel atmosphere. This new route promises to be a true celebration for travel and culture enthusiasts, blending elegance with the rich history of two great cities.
