Leleka's Eurovision 2026 Performance Budget

Ukraine's representative for Eurovision 2026 in Vienna, Leleka, has disclosed that the staging for her song "Ridnym" will cost $300,000. When she left Ukraine, 80% of the needed funds had already been raised; that figure has now climbed to 93%, approximately $280,000. While traveling by train, Leleka actively sent funding proposals to potential benefactors.

Updated Vision for the Performance

After winning the national selection, Leleka developed a revised concept for her act. The performance opens with a white podium, where Leleka moves toward bandurist Yaroslav Dzhus, who accompanies her on the bandura. Following the first chorus, the stage plunges into darkness. The artist's outfit consists of a white dress worn over pants, complemented by light fabric elements. In the finale, the fabric shifts to a deep red color.

“I nervously kicked everyone out of the compartment and said no one should come in until I had written to all the contacts.” - Leleka

Ukraine's participation in Eurovision has always drawn significant attention, and 2026 is no exception. The funds raised for Leleka's performance reflect strong support from fans and patrons, signaling growing interest in her music and the song "Ridnym." This also highlights the critical role of financial backing in bringing major cultural projects like Eurovision to life.

As Leleka prepares for her upcoming performance, fans are eager to see how her vision translates on stage. The recent first rehearsal in Vienna showcased the integration of traditional elements like the bandura, promising a captivating visual and auditory experience that aligns with her artistic goals. This rehearsal marks a significant step in her journey toward Eurovision 2026.
