Lifecell Announces Price Increases for Maxi and Mega Plans Starting February 2026

Lifecell повідомляє про підвищення тарифів на Maxi та Mega плани з лютого 2026 року.

Lifecell Mobile Operator Adjusts Its Tariff Plans

Ukrainian mobile operator lifecell will raise the prices for its Maxi and Mega plans for new subscribers, effective February 18, 2026. However, existing customers who joined before February 17 will see no change to their current rates. The company has also announced an increase in the data allowance for roaming within the European Union.

New Pricing Structure

Starting February 18, 2026, the standard cost for the Maxi plan for new connections will be 400 hryvnias for a 4-week period. For personalized numbers, the Maxi plan will cost 350 hryvnias, while customers who transfer their number to lifecell's network (MNP) will pay 270 hryvnias. The Mega plan for new subscribers is set at 550 hryvnias, 350 hryvnias for ported numbers, and 450 hryvnias for personalized numbers. These adjustments come as mobile operators in Ukraine face significant operational challenges, including the need for autonomous power supplies for network infrastructure.

Additionally, lifecell is boosting EU roaming data limits. The Maxi plan will now include 13 GB for EU roaming, while the Mega plan will offer 18 GB. The company cites rising costs for maintaining network stability, autonomous power for equipment, technical support, and infrastructure development as reasons for these updates.

It is worth noting that competitors are also planning tariff changes. Kyivstar is preparing to update the pricing for a range of archived plans around March 1, 2026, while Vodafone currently has no plans to revise its tariff grids.

The changes to lifecell's tariffs reflect a broader trend in the mobile communications market, where operators are forced to adapt their offerings to new economic conditions.

These price increases may influence the choices of new subscribers looking for the best value. The higher EU roaming data allowances could be a positive development for frequent travelers within Europe. Market competition remains intense, and future tariff adjustments from other operators could influence lifecell's strategic decisions moving forward.
