Lifecell Introduces 'Care' Plan for Ukrainians Aged 55 and Over at 190 Hryvnias Monthly

Lifecell запустила нову програму обслуговування для українців віком від 55 років за ціною 190 гривень на місяць.

Lifecell's New 'Care' Tariff Plan

Ukrainian mobile operator lifecell has launched a new plan called 'Care' specifically for citizens aged 55 and older. This initiative aims to make communication easier for the older generation and provide access to modern digital services. The promotional tariff will be available for subscription from February 19, 2026, until December 31, 2027, with a monthly cost of 190 hryvnias. This move is part of a growing trend among telecom providers to cater to the specific needs of senior customers.

Subscription Details and Plan Benefits

Ukrainian citizens wishing to use the new plan can port their existing number from another operator to the lifecell network. To do this, they must submit a Mobile Number Portability (MNP) request at stores operating under the lifecell brand or at Volia sales and service centers.

The plan's package includes:

  • 20 GB of internet data;
  • 1000 minutes for calls to other Ukrainian mobile operators;
  • Unlimited calls within the lifecell network.

Additionally, subscribers receive unlimited access to popular apps like YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and Telegram for the entire duration of the package. It is important to note that after using 50 GB of data, the network access speed is reduced to 1 Mbps until the end of the billing cycle.

The company stated that 'the promotional tariff is available for subscription from February 19, 2026, to December 31, 2027.'

The launch of lifecell's 'Care' tariff represents a significant step in ensuring communication access for Ukraine's older population. As many people aged 55 and over may face challenges with new technologies, this plan is designed to make connectivity more accessible and convenient for this consumer group. It also highlights the increasing attention mobile operators are paying to the needs of older demographics, an important aspect of corporate social responsibility.
