Opening of Mobile Pharmacy Points at Gas Stations
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has made a decision to open mobile pharmacy points and sell medicinal products at gas stations. This innovation will make basic medicines more accessible to people, especially when the ability to visit a traditional pharmacy may be limited.
Only over-the-counter drugs will be sold at gas stations, ensuring quick access to necessary medications. To implement this initiative, gas stations must obtain the appropriate license confirming their right to sell medicinal products. Thus, the new format of selling medications can positively impact the availability of medical products for the population.
Advantages of the New Initiative
This step by the Cabinet of Ministers may be an important decision in the context of improving access to medical services, especially in regions where traditional pharmacies may be remote.
