French Club Lille Eyes Karpaty's Goalkeeper Dombchak, Following Italian Bid

Французький клуб з Лілля проявляє інтерес до голкіпера Карпат Домбчака після пропозиції з Італії.

Interest in Nazar Dombchak

Nazar Dombchak, the 18-year-old goalkeeper for FC Karpaty Lviv and the Ukrainian youth national team, has attracted attention from French Ligue 1 side Lille. A journalist reports that a concrete offer for the player is now on the table. This follows a previous bid of €4 million from the Italian club Lecce for Dombchak's services. Lille's interest highlights the growing European market for promising Ukrainian talent.

Dombchak has been a fixture in Karpaty's first team since the summer of 2025. During the 2025/26 Ukrainian Premier League season, he made 21 appearances, conceded 22 goals, and kept 11 clean sheets. His current market value is estimated at €700,000 by Transfermarkt, and his contract with Karpaty runs until the end of 2029.

"I believe Dombchak has been the second-best goalkeeper in the Ukrainian championship this season. Karpaty have received a specific purchase offer for Nazar from French club Lille. I think there will be many more offers for the young keeper, and I am confident the Lviv club can sell him for a substantial fee."
