Military analyst from Bild, Julian Ropke, believes that the Russian offensive in Ukraine this summer can be considered unsuccessful. Moscow's plans to capture various cities and create a 'security zone' have proven futile. As a result of attempts to capture Pokrovsk, Russian troops suffered defeat, and in other directions, they also failed to achieve the desired results.
In the northern direction, the plan to create a 'security zone' also failed - the occupiers managed to take control of less than 70 km of territory.
According to Julian Ropke's estimates, the Russian troops managed to occupy only a very small part of Ukraine's territory. At the same time, Ukraine is actively using drones to attack Russian oil refineries, which has led to serious consequences for Russia's economy. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky expressed readiness for peace talks but dismissed the possibility of capitulation.
According to experts' analysis, the summer offensive of Russian troops in Ukraine has proven unsuccessful, as they did not achieve most of their goals. Ukraine responded to attacks and flooded the enemy with drones, causing significant damage to Russia's energy infrastructure. President Zelensky continues to uphold independence and readiness for a ceasefire, however, he rejects any thoughts of capitulation.
