As part of the Baltic Defense Line project, Lithuania has installed concrete anti-tank obstacles known as 'dragon teeth' along sections of its border with Russia and Belarus. This was reported by 'Gromadske' citing the Lithuanian army.

According to Lithuanian military officials, these obstacles are not related to the 'West' exercises scheduled to take place in Belarus, but are part of a long-term plan. This measure aims to limit the ability of military equipment to physically enter Lithuanian territory from Belarus and Russia.

Lithuanian Foreign Minister Kristupas Budrys has called on the European Union to prepare the 19th package of sanctions against Russia. He emphasized the importance of increasing pressure on the aggressor and maintaining transatlantic unity. This was reported by 'Gromadske' citing Kristupas Budrys.

In his address, Budrys noted that 'a fair and lasting peace in Ukraine is the main priority'.

The announcement of the installation of 'dragon teeth' on Lithuania's border with Russia and Belarus indicates serious measures taken by the country to ensure its security in the face of a potential threat from the east. Lithuania is also actively urging the EU to strengthen sanctions against Russia, supporting peaceful and stable development in the region.
