Lviv is preparing to launch a mobile application that will unite key city services in one interface. Users will be able to receive information about transport, register for the Administrative Services Center, and follow city events. This is reported by the “Lviv City Council”.

The launch is tentatively scheduled for April 2026. The city’s digital transformation team is working on the project. As explained by Deputy Mayor for Digitalization Olena Hunko, the application will be part of a common platform for several cities, rather than a separate solution just for Lviv.

«Users will be able to choose a city in the application and receive corresponding services. Such a system is already in place in Odesa, Khmelnytskyi, Vinnytsia, and Bucha,» she noted.

In the first version, the application will integrate about 10 basic functions. In particular:

  • map of resilience points

  • information about shelters with the ability to leave feedback

  • news and surveys

  • notifications about alarms and important events

  • changes in transport movement and road closures

  • electronic queue to the Administrative Services Center

  • weather data and air quality.

Mobile application of Lviv: what services will be available

Some functions are aimed at feedback from the city. From the start, users will be able to leave requests. In the future, the service will be integrated with the hotline so that requests are immediately forwarded to the relevant services.

The application will be available for iOS and Android. According to Olena Hunko, the city aims to make digital services convenient and time-saving for residents.

Digital services of Lviv: what opportunities will be added later

Special attention is paid to data security. Protection is provided by both the technical solutions of the platform and the involved cybersecurity experts.

In the future, the functionality will be expanded. Among the planned directions:

  • payment of parking fines

  • verification and topping up of transport cards

  • appointment with a doctor and access to electronic prescriptions

  • verification and payment of local taxes.

At the same time, the Resident Portal will continue to operate as a separate tool for obtaining more complex administrative services.

The development of digital services in Lviv has been ongoing for several years. The new application is expected to become a single access point to basic services and complement existing city tools.

Previously, we reported that on March 24, Russian troops carried out a massive attack with drones on the western and central regions of Ukraine. The city of Lviv suffered the most, with strikes recorded on residential buildings and the historical part of the city.
