Lviv doctors removed a needle from a schoolgirl's hand: how it got there

Лікарі Львова допомогли школярці, яка отримала травму руки, витягнувши небезпечний предмет.

Incident with Angelina in Lviv

In Lviv, 13-year-old schoolgirl Angelina went to the hospital complaining of pain in her hand, where doctors discovered a sewing needle. During the examination, it was found that the needle had entered the hand at a 45-degree angle and was stuck in the muscle. The doctors performed surgery to remove it, confirming the seriousness of the situation.

Angelina was sewing a New Year ornament before the incident, which may have been the cause of the injury. Upon her arrival at the hospital, the doctors found a hardening, the pain from which radiated deep down, alarming the doctors, particularly Bohdana Li. To accurately determine the location of the foreign body, the surgeons used X-ray navigation.

High level of medical services

It should be noted that earlier doctors in Lviv performed surgery on an infant with a brain tumor, and 43-year-old Ivan Podledniev underwent a liver transplant from his wife. These cases confirm the high level of medical care in the city, where doctors are ready to assist patients in complex situations.

The incident with Angelina highlights the importance of caution when working with sharp objects, especially in children. Medical professionals once again demonstrate their ability to respond quickly to unforeseen situations, using modern technologies for diagnosis and treatment. This case also draws attention to the need for increased awareness among parents and children regarding the safe use of sewing tools.
