Ukrainian yachtswoman Agnieszka Madonich became a prizewinner at the international regatta in Italy in the 'Optimist' class. She took third place in the overall standings among juniors, and also became the best among girls in this age group. Ukraine ranked in the top 10 of the overall medal standings of the European Youth Olympic Festival, taking 10th place. The Ukrainian team has 5 gold, 8 silver, and 10 bronze medals.
