The Pension Fund of Ukraine has approved the average salary for June 2025 at the level of 22,336.81 UAH. This indicator is important for calculating the future pensions of Ukrainians and was officially approved on July 25, 2025.
The role of the indicator in determining pension amounts
This amount reflects the incomes of citizens from which mandatory insurance contributions to the pension system of Ukraine were paid. According to current legislation, this indicator is key in determining the amount of pension payments.
Compared to previous months, the average salary in Ukraine is increasing. For example, at the beginning of the year, this indicator was 18,660 UAH, and in April it was already 19,856 UAH.
Only those incomes from which insurance contributions were paid to the PFU by employers and self-employed persons are taken into account.
The approved level of average salary in June 2025 reflects the growth of incomes of Ukrainians, which affects the size of future pensions and indicates positive trends in the development of the country's economy.
