Mike Pence warns of the possibility of a Russian attack on NATO countries

Former US Vice President Mike Pence expressed his concern and warned that if Russia captures Ukraine, it could lead to an attack on one of the NATO countries. In an interview with BBC Newsnight, he emphasized the importance of Western support for Ukraine.

'I believe the West must continue to maintain its positions because I have no doubt that if Putin seizes Ukraine, it will only be a matter of time before he violates the border of one of the NATO countries'

Mike Pence also expressed doubt about the possibility of a ceasefire from Russia, claiming that Vladimir Putin is not seeking peace but only wishes to suppress Ukraine. He urged the US and European partners to strengthen sanctions against Russia to reduce the threat of further conflict.

Experts' warnings about possible consequences

Experts have previously emphasized the risk of further aggressive actions by Russia in the event of Ukraine's capitulation. They point out that progress in the Ukrainian war could provide Russia with additional means to pressure other countries, including military or hybrid attacks.

It should be noted that Russia's hybrid war against Moldova peaked before the elections, further confirming the potential consequences of escalating conflict in Ukraine.

During the interview, Mike Pence expressed his outrage and concern about possible Russian actions if Ukraine is captured, warning of potential attacks on NATO countries. Experts also highlight the risk of further Russian aggression and potential consequences for the region if the situation deteriorates.
