Special Account for Defense Support: Latest Balance
The National Bank of Ukraine has released updated figures for the dedicated account that supports the country's defense forces, showing its status as of August 1. The account balance stood at nearly UAH 3.3 billion. During the previous month, more than UAH 1 billion was deposited, signaling continued strong public backing for military needs.
Since the account was opened on February 24, 2022, total contributions have reached almost UAH 157.8 billion. In July 2026 alone, close to UAH 4 billion was directed to the same purpose. These numbers highlight how essential financial assistance is for Ukraine's armed forces amid today's security environment.
