The head of the Main Intelligence Directorate, Kyrylo Budanov, said in an interview with Bloomberg that North Korea supplies up to 40% of Russian ammunition for the war in Ukraine. Among the supplied weapons are ballistic missiles and artillery systems that Russian soldiers receive from Kim Jong Un. In turn, Russia provides North Korea with money and technology, contributing to the weakening of Pyongyang's international isolation.

"North Korea has huge stockpiles, and production continues around the clock," Budanov emphasized.

In addition to military cooperation, collaboration between Russia and North Korea is also evident in other areas. The countries have begun constructing a car bridge over the Tumannaya River, which is regarded as a "milestone for the relations of the two countries." Agreements to create manufacturing capabilities in North Korea for producing strike drones of the "Shahed" type also indicate intentions to strengthen cooperation.

North Korea's participation in Russia's war against Ukraine has brought more than $20 billion to its economy, allowing Pyongyang to develop high-tech weapons and enhance its capabilities to strike targets in South Korea.

Thus, cooperation between Russia and North Korea occurs not only on the military level but also in the field of economic collaboration, allowing both countries to strengthen their positions and develop new opportunities.
