New Single 'Tears' Released
Ukrainian pop star Max Barskikh has released a new single titled 'Tears' (Sliozy). The official video for the track is comprised of footage from the film 'Mademoiselle Zhivago', in which Barskikh starred alongside the renowned singer Lara Fabian. The song is now available for fans to watch on the artist's official YouTube channel.
Charity Auction and Social Commitment
This release follows a recent show in Kyiv where Barskikh hosted a charity auction. The highlight of the auction was a boxing glove signed by the celebrated Ukrainian world champion boxer, Oleksandr Usyk. The event was organized by the Oleksandr Usyk Charity Foundation, underscoring the artist's commitment to social causes.
Barskikh's last major concert was a pre-Christmas show at Kyiv's Palace of Sports last year, an event remembered not only for the music but also for a technical mishap when the power went out during the performance. Reflecting on the new video, the artist shared:
"Friends, by your numerous requests, we have prepared a mood video, which I filmed many years ago together with Lara Fabian."
The release of 'Tears' highlights Barskikh's ongoing creative output, balancing new music with active participation in philanthropic initiatives. His involvement in the charity auction demonstrates a growing trend among artists to leverage their platform for social good. While large-scale events can face unexpected challenges, as seen in last year's concert, they continue to draw significant public support and engagement.
