Ukrainian Showbiz Rocked by New Dispute
Tensions flared after an episode of Vasyl Tymoshenko's podcast, where psychologist Nataliia Kholodenko discussed staged publicity romances in the Ukrainian entertainment industry. During the conversation, Kholodenko mentioned director Alan Badoev, claiming he has 'spent his whole life in fogs' and has two children. Many listeners interpreted this as a dig at singer Max Barskih, since his hit song is titled 'Tumany'—the Ukrainian word for 'fogs.'
In response, Barskih shared a screenshot from the podcast on his social media, voicing his anger. He branded Kholodenko a
“fraud” and a “click-chaser,”adding:
“I hope normal people don’t take this fraud, this pseudo-psychologist, seriously. What is she even rambling about? A total click-chaser!”As of now, Kholodenko has not publicly addressed the singer’s remarks, leaving the situation unresolved.
Reputation on the Line
The incident highlights how sensitive Ukrainian showbiz figures are to any commentary about their personal lives. Public clashes between celebrities often draw intense media and fan scrutiny, potentially damaging the reputations of both the commentators and those they mention. How Kholodenko eventually responds could shift the entire dynamic of this scandal.
