15-year-old 'little Einstein of Belgium' awarded a doctorate in quantum physics

Laurent Simons, who owes his doctorate in quantum physics from the university in Antwerp, can finally take pride in his new title. This joyful event was reported by the publication 'Glavkom', citing information from Science Alert.

The Flemish television network VTM reported that Laurent has likely become the youngest doctor in the world in quantum physics. His path to achieving this great goal began very early: at just six years old, he completed elementary school, and at twelve, he obtained a master's degree in the field. With an IQ of 145 and a photographic memory, Laurent is considered one of the smartest people on our planet.

While Laurent has set a new record, the title of the youngest doctor in the world still belongs to Karl Witte from Germany, who received his degree at 13 years old. Until now, his parents even received several offers from major IT companies in the USA and China, but they decided to decline these opportunities for now.

Amid the achievements of the young genius, the European Parliament is currently discussing the possibility of raising the registration age on social networks to protect teenagers from the side effects of being in the online environment.

In the challenging world of science, there is already a new star – Laurent Simons, who became a PhD at the age of 15 and is recognized for his amazing abilities and achievements.
