Meat Prices Rise Again: How Much Beef, Ham, and Bacon Cost in Supermarkets

Ukrainian supermarkets are raising prices on meat, especially beef, ham, and bacon. These products are an important part of Ukrainians' diet, so the price increase greatly affects family budgets. This has led to buyers being more careful in their selections, comparing prices in different stores.


Beef remains expensive for Ukrainians. On average, the price for beef goulash is 349.45 UAH per kilogram. However, in the Metro chain, this product can be purchased for less - 323.89 UAH per kg. This is the most advantageous offer compared to other stores. In Megamarket, the price for a kilogram of this beef is 375.00 UAH.

Ham occupies an average price position among meat products. Prices for ham vary depending on the chain. On average, the market price is 645.58 UAH per kilogram.


Prices for bacon from the producer Ukrprompostach remain stable. In July, the average price for a kilogram of bacon was 507.03 UAH. The lowest price was found in Megamarket - 485.40 UAH per kg, and the highest - in Novus - 539.00 UAH per kg.
