Russian drones attacked Sumy: there are dead and injured
On Tuesday afternoon, Russian drones attacked Sumy, resulting in the death of a 72-year-old woman and injuries to three people. The incident also caused damage to administrative buildings, schools, hospitals, residential buildings, and vehicles. Investigative and operational groups, along with police explosives experts, are working in the city to establish the circumstances of this attack.
Attempts to resuscitate the woman lasted for 25 minutes but were unsuccessful, said Vitaliy Kulyk, a volunteer with the Red Cross, to the local publication Kordon.Media.
During the attack, the woman sustained serious injuries and died at the scene despite the efforts of volunteers and medics to save her. This tragedy is not the first drone attack on a civilian settlement in this city, as similar events were recorded in May, leading to destruction and loss of life.
Russian drones continue to attack civilians and civilian infrastructure in Ukraine, bringing horrific consequences for the local population and property.
