Overnight Assault Targets Dnipropetrovsk Region

Russian forces launched a large-scale attack on the Dnipropetrovsk region overnight, damaging critical infrastructure, residential buildings, and other sites. This region, a frequent target, is a major industrial and population center in eastern Ukraine. In the city of Dnipro, the assault resulted in damage to:

  • an infrastructure facility;
  • two private houses;
  • a three-story residential building;
  • a dormitory.

The Slobozhanska community in the Dnipro district was also affected, where a passenger car caught fire and a private house was damaged. The Rozdorska and Raivska communities of the Synelnykove district, along with the city of Synelnykove itself, came under fire as well. In Synelnykove, responders extinguished a blaze, with damage reported to infrastructure, a private enterprise, a garage, and a car. Preliminary reports indicate there were no casualties or injuries.

Civilian Impact of the Ongoing Conflict

This barrage is part of the continuing military actions that are severely impacting civilians and regional infrastructure. Despite the absence of fatalities, the destruction of homes and essential services creates significant hardship for local residents, many of whom risk being left without shelter.

The situation in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast remains tense, highlighting the persistent threat to civilian safety and underscoring the need for sustained support from the state and international organizations.
