As a result of the attack by Russian troops on Poltava region, a number of fires occurred at industrial and energy facilities. Some fires have been brought under control, but the power supply situation in the cities of Kremenchuk and Horishni Plavni remains tense. Repair work is underway to restore the stability of heating and water supply as quickly as possible. A total of 190 rescuers and 50 units of State Emergency Service equipment are involved in the operation.
Massive attacks on the energy infrastructure of these regions continue to challenge local services, but their efforts are aimed at restoring the normal functioning of critical systems as quickly as possible. This happened in the context of a general attack on critical infrastructure facilities in Ukraine, where the enemy even used strike drones and missiles of various types.
