Massive attack on Kyiv: four killed, 19 injured, power and water outages

Massive attack by Russian troops in Kyiv

A massive attack by Russian troops took place in Kyiv, resulting in four deaths and 19 injuries. Among the injured is one medic who died, and four more medical staff were affected. The attack caused power and water outages in several districts of the capital.

Drone strikes and consequences

Drone strikes were recorded in the Darnytskyi district, where several fires broke out in residential buildings and garages. A store and windows in a nine-story building were also damaged. In the Desnianskyi district, a direct hit by a drone struck the roof of an 18-story building, leading to fires in two five-story buildings, as well as damage to the territory of a shopping center and a sanatorium.

In the Dniprovskyi district, fires occurred in 16-story and 9-story buildings, and debris from buildings destroyed the roof of a three-story building. Some debris fell onto a children's playground and near a tram depot. In the Pecherskyi district, partial destruction of the facade of a nine-story residential building and damage to a non-residential high-rise occurred.

Currently, 14 injured people have been hospitalized, while others received medical assistance on the spot. Vitali Klitschko reported that emergency rescue teams are working at all locations. In addition, the attack also affected a critical infrastructure facility in Lviv region, as reported by Maksym Kozytskyi, urging residents to remain in shelters until the threat passes. Infrastructure damage has been recorded in Dniprovsk, Kryvyi Rih, and Pavlohrad districts of Dnipropetrovsk region.

This attack is part of the ongoing aggressive actions by Russia, which endanger the lives of civilians and the infrastructure of Ukraine. In a wartime situation, the country's critical infrastructure is at significant risk, which could lead to a humanitarian disaster. Authorities urge the population to follow safety measures and stay in shelters during air raids to minimize risks to life.
