Massive shelling of Kyiv on January 9: four dead, the city suffered destruction

In the night of January 9, Kyiv suffered a massive combined shelling by missiles and drones. As a result of this attack, residential buildings and infrastructure facilities were damaged. Unfortunately, four people died, and another 19 were injured, most of whom were hospitalized. Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko confirmed the information about the deaths of four people at 04:40.

Consequences of the shelling

The shelling led to significant destruction in the capital. As a result, the city of Slavutych in Kyiv region found itself in a state of complete blackout. Rescue services are working at the scene, providing assistance to the victims.
