Attack by Russian forces in Kharkiv region
As a result of the massive attack by Russian forces in the Kharkiv region, 4 people were killed, and 6 were injured. The strike was directed at the territory of the postal terminal in the suburbs of Kharkiv, leading to significant destruction.
Consequences of the attack
The destruction of buildings covered a total area of about 500 square meters. Employees of the State Emergency Service (SES) conducted rescue operations, during which 30 people were rescued, including two who were pulled from under the rubble. Currently, emergency rescue operations and firefighting continue.
This attack emphasizes the ongoing aggression by Russia against Ukraine, which has been occurring since 2014. The Kharkiv region, located close to the border with Russia, often becomes a target for shelling, resulting in significant human casualties and infrastructure destruction. The situation remains tense, and rescue services continue their work to assist the affected and mitigate the consequences of the attack.
