Жінка з Броварів тривожилася про наслідки, коли в неї померла дитина, і вирішила приховати це.

Tragedy Unfolds in Brovary

On April 23, a 38-year-old woman in Brovary did not call emergency services for her sick two-year-old son, leading to his death. Following the tragedy, she concealed the child's body in a cardboard box inside a closet. Reports indicate that during the night, the mother noticed her son was unwell but took no action to save him or summon medical help. The child was left unattended in the apartment, and later the mother found the boy unresponsive.

The child's grandmother alerted police after discovering her grandson was missing. Investigators determined that the mother's inaction resulted in the young child's death. It was also revealed that the woman had long neglected her parental duties, abused alcohol, and failed to provide adequate care for her son. This case highlights critical failures in child welfare and parental responsibility.

Legal Consequences

The suspect was detained under Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine and placed in a temporary detention facility. She has been charged under Part 3 of Article 135 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine for abandonment in danger resulting in death, as well as under Article 166 for malicious failure to fulfill parental care obligations causing severe consequences. The investigation is ongoing.
