An additional 3.2 billion hryvnias for medicines: which diseases will the funds be directed to

The state enterprise 'Medical Procurements' has received a significant increase in funding - 3.2 billion hryvnias for the purchase of medicinal products for the treatment of cardiovascular, orphan and oncological diseases. More than 400 items are planned to be purchased. The general director of the State Enterprise 'Medical Procurements of Ukraine' Oleg Klyots reported that these funds will be directed to urgent patient needs, particularly for the treatment of heart diseases and other areas.

Significant funds will be directed for the treatment of cardiovascular diseases and other needs. Funding has also been allocated for the treatment of childhood hemophilia, products for neurosurgery, pediatric oncology and other directions. A tender for the treatment of hepatitis is planned to be announced, which will allow significant savings on the purchase of medicinal products in the future. Promises to use the funding effectively provide some optimism regarding the improvement of the medical system in Ukraine.
