The Mayor of Lviv spoke about the consequences of the attack by the Russians

The Mayor of Lviv Andriy Sadovyi spoke about the consequences of the night attack by the Russians on the city. According to him, an emergency commission was convened to assess the extent of the destruction.


«According to the city head, among those affected by the attack is one person who is currently in the hospital. His condition is stable, and according to the mayor, «everything will be fine». This information currently differs from the statement of the head of Lviv OVA Maksym Kozytskyi. 

The most significant damage occurred in the Zhylodork and Halytskyi districts of Lviv. A total of 46 houses were damaged, with over 500 windows broken. Of these, 15 apartments have been deemed uninhabitable. 28 residents have been offered temporary free accommodation in a hotel.



Providing assistance to the affected


To assist residents affected, a mobile CNAP will operate in Lviv on July 12 and 13 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM at 11 Storozhenka Street. Here, applications for compensation for housing rental of 10, 12, or 15 thousand hryvnias can be submitted, depending on need. The city will also provide compensation for damaged property: 12 thousand hryvnias for windows and 8 thousand hryvnias for doors.



After the night attack by Russian forces on Lviv, a significant number of homes were damaged, but the city authorities have already begun providing assistance to affected residents. They can receive compensation for housing rental and for damaged property to quickly restore their living conditions.
