Oleksandr Syrskyi visited the Pokrovska and Dobropilska directions
On September 12, 2025, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, visited the critically important Pokrovska and Dobropilska directions, which require constant monitoring from his side.
According to Syrskyi's statements, he held a meeting with commanders at the command post of one of the army corps to conduct a detailed analysis of the operational situation and discuss further actions. Special attention was focused on developing effective ways to eliminate Russian marine units.
The Commander-in-Chief emphasized that officers on the ground provided specific proposals for further actions to defeat the enemy group. Orders were issued to supply Ukrainian units with ammunition and electronic warfare means.
Ukrainian soldiers bravely hold back the enemy and restore control
'Our fighters bravely withstand the enemy's pressure and restore control over the territory of Ukrainian Donetsk,' Syrskyi wrote in his post, adding that the commanders' main task is to effectively utilize available resources and preserve personnel.
At the end of the visit, the Commander-in-Chief emphasized the importance of joint work of all levels of military command: 'We work together to achieve a common goal. Glory to Ukraine!'
During his working trip, Oleksandr Syrskyi discussed the strategy of actions in critically important directions, highlighting the significance of cooperation and coordination of Ukrainian troops to regain control.
