US President Donald Trump was asked to comment on the deployment of nuclear submarines and expressed his position regarding possible negotiations with Russian leader Vladimir Putin.

'Yes, we had to do it. We need to be careful. A threat was voiced, and we find it unacceptable, so I have to be very careful. I did this out of safety considerations for our people. The threat was voiced by the former president of Russia, and we will protect our people'

Trump also noted that he was outraged by what he heard from Dmitry Medvedev, the deputy chairman of the Security Council of Russia, about nuclear weapons.

'Well, just read what he wrote. He was talking about nuclear weapons. When you talk about nuclear weapons, you must be ready. And we are fully ready'

In addition, Trump expressed hope that possible negotiations with Putin would go well and mentioned changes in agreements with other countries, including a potential change in India's purchase of Russian oil.

During his response, Trump emphasized the importance of the safety of US citizens and readiness for negotiations, expressing hope for a positive resolution of the situation.
