Financial support program for internally displaced persons
In Mykolaiv, a financial support program for internally displaced persons with disabilities or serious illnesses has been launched. The payment within the program is 10800 hryvnias. This initiative aims to support displaced persons who left Donetsk, Luhansk, or Kherson regions after February 24, 2022, and moved to Mykolaiv. Applications for participation in the program are accepted until the end of April 2026.
Requirements and documents for participation
The program covers internally displaced persons who have received IDP status after the specified date. A key requirement for receiving financial assistance is the absence of multi-purpose assistance payments from other charitable organizations. Document registration for registration is carried out from Monday to Friday from 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM at the address: Mykolaiv, Spaska Street, 60-b.
“If you are an IDP from February 24, 2022, from the Donetsk, Luhansk, or Kherson regions and have recently moved to Mykolaiv, have a disability or serious illness, you can receive 10800 UAH,” the program organizers stated.
To register, you need to submit the following documents:
- passport
- identification code
- refugee certificate
- income certificate
- medical confirmation of diagnosis
This program is an important step in supporting vulnerable groups affected by the conflict. It not only provides financial assistance but also emphasizes the local government's commitment to support displaced persons in difficult life circumstances. Importantly, the program has a long duration, allowing many people to receive the necessary support during a challenging time.
As Mykolaiv implements its financial support program for internally displaced persons, similar initiatives are also taking place in other regions. For example, financial assistance for evacuees from Bakhmut in Dnipro offers quarterly payments to those in need. This demonstrates a broader commitment to supporting vulnerable populations affected by the ongoing conflict across various cities.
