Ukraine is actively developing its market for Ukrainian interceptor drones, stated Defense Minister Denys Shmyhal. According to the minister's information, three manufacturers have received government contracts, with a total of 4 contracts amounting to over 3 billion hryvnias.

'Together with First Deputy Prime Minister Mykhailo Fedorov, we met with Brave1, the Ministry of Digital Transformation team, drone manufacturers, and the largest volunteer foundations in Ukraine. We focused on supplying our warriors at the front with drones. Special attention was given to interceptor drones capable of countering the Russian 'shaheds', - emphasized Shmyhal.

Negotiations for Funding to Purchase Interceptors

The minister also noted that the Ministry of Defense is currently in negotiations with partners to attract funding for the acquisition of these interceptors. Certain agreements have already been reached.

'We are combining efforts to ensure security and a peaceful future', - he emphasized.

Ukraine actively supports domestic manufacturers of interceptor drones by signing contracts and seeking funding for the procurement of such important equipment for the army. The Defense Minister emphasized the importance of this step to ensure the safety of our country and protect Ukrainian territory from external aggression.
