Deputy Chairman of the CEC Serhiy Dubovyk reported that according to the State Register of Voters, the total number of voters exceeds 33 million, but it is extremely difficult to determine the exact number of those who will be able to participate in the voting.

According to Dubovyk, between 5 and 7.5 million Ukrainians are abroad in areas where information can be obtained. About 1 million 400 thousand people do not have an electoral address, meaning official registration in Ukraine or abroad.

According to the Deputy Chairman of the CEC, conducting future elections in Ukraine may cost the state at least 20 billion hryvnias. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky emphasized that to organize elections within the framework of a peace agreement, it is necessary to ensure a ceasefire.

The President called for a ceasefire as one of the key guarantees for holding legitimate elections and achieving their resulting significance. Earlier, Zelensky instructed people's deputies to develop options for holding elections in Ukraine.

The Central Election Commission of Ukraine cannot accurately determine the number of citizens who will be able to vote, as some Ukrainians are abroad or do not have an electoral address. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky emphasized that for the successful conduct of elections, it is important to ensure a ceasefire as one of the necessary steps toward legitimate elections.
