No access to information about Mindich's departure
Spokesman of the State Border Guard Service Andriy Demchenko stated that he has no access to information about the departure from Ukraine of businessman, co-owner of the 'Kvartal 95' studio Timur Mindich on November 10. At the same time, according to media reports citing law enforcement agencies, Mindich left the territory of Ukraine a few hours before the search conducted by NABU. This was reported by 'Glavkom' citing 'RBK-Ukraine'.
The spokesman noted that the State Border Guard Service is not authorized to disclose information regarding border crossing by third parties.
Searches of Halushchenko and Mindich
Let us remind you, on November 10, detectives of NABU conducted searches at former Minister of Energy Herman Halushchenko. This was reported by Yaroslav Zheleznyak. According to the MP, searches are also taking place at 'Energoatom'.
In particular, in the morning of November 10, detectives of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau came with searches to businessman, co-owner of the 'Kvartal 95' studio, associate of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy Timur Mindich. According to sources from RBK-Ukraine, searches of Timur Mindich and Herman Halushchenko are being conducted as part of one case related to corruption in the energy sector.
Subsequently, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office reported that they are conducting a large-scale operation to expose corruption in the energy sector. According to NABU, the participants of the criminal organization have built a large-scale corruption scheme of influence on strategic enterprises of the state sector, including JSC 'NAEK 'Energoatom'.
A representative of the State Border Guard Service stated that he cannot comment on information regarding Timur Mindich's departure, while other sources indicate that the businessman left the country before the searches were conducted. Currently, NABU and the prosecutor's office are conducting an operation to expose corruption schemes in the energy sector, in which Mindich and Halushchenko were searched.
