Financial support for local budgets of Ukraine in 2025
In 2025, the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine transferred interbudgetary transfers to local budgets amounting to 195.4 billion hryvnias. This decision has a significant impact on the financial stability of communities, as it provides additional resources for their development.
In particular, in December, local budgets received 22.4 billion hryvnias. These funds can be used for various needs, such as:
- infrastructure projects,
- education,
- health care.
As of January 1, 2026, the balance on local budget accounts was 97.1 billion hryvnias, indicating the presence of significant financial resources for the implementation of planned activities.
