Grants for Processing Enterprises
Ukraine's Ministry of Economy has begun accepting applications for grants aimed at the development and recovery of processing enterprises. These grants, designated for the year 2026, are provided on a co-financing basis between the state and the applicant. Applications can be submitted via the Diia portal. This program is part of broader efforts to strengthen domestic industry and reduce economic vulnerability.
Permitted Use of Grant Funds
Development grants can be used for the following purposes:
- Purchasing, delivering, installing, and commissioning production equipment;
- Conducting research and development (R&D) for launching new products.
Enterprises engaged in cultivating perennial crops and registered in the State Agrarian Register are eligible for grants to purchase equipment for the post-harvest processing of agricultural products. Funds from recovery grants can be allocated to purchase and commission new equipment to resume operations at enterprises that have suffered damage. This targeted support is crucial for a sector that is a cornerstone of the national economy.
The Ministry of Economy's initiative represents a significant step in supporting the agricultural sector and processing industry, particularly within the context of post-war recovery. These grants are designed to stimulate investment in new technologies and equipment, which could enhance production efficiency and the competitiveness of Ukrainian goods in foreign markets. Consequently, the program may become a vital component in rebuilding the country's economy following periods of crisis.
